Role Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, working either early shift, 07:00 to 15:30 or late shift, 15:00 to 23:30
  • 25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for an Avionic Mechanic to support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out modifications and maintenance in accordance with approved drawings and maintenance data, taking full accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed
  • Precise wiring terminations and testing
  • Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics and regulatory requirements
  • Loom manufacture and testing
  • Support avionics system testing, validation and troubleshooting
  • Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Completed an engineering apprenticeship, ideally in aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of avionics systems
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Subject to UK security vetting
