We are currently leading independent accountancy firm in Yorkshire who are looking to grow their corporate tax advisory business.

Your new role:

  • Lead the delivery of corporate tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients across various sectors
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ commercial objectives
  • Ensure clients remain compliant with UK and international tax legislation
  • Provide expert guidance on corporate tax matters including restructures, mergers, acquisitions, and disposals
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex corporate tax computations and returns
  • Advise on transfer pricing policies and ensure appropriate documentation is in place
  • Manage relationships with HMRC on behalf of clients, including handling enquiries and audits
  • Monitor legislative changes and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
  • Support clients with tax risk management and governance frameworks
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering technical development and client service excellence
  • Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients
  • Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal support
  • Drive process improvements and adoption of tax technology within the practice
  • Provide tax forecasts and planning support to clients’ finance teams

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA qualified
  • UK corporate tax experience working within practice
  • Experience with OMBs and larger corporates
