Corporate Office Facilities Management

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Hours: Monday–Friday (08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00)

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Engineer to take responsibility for engineering operations within a high-end, Class A corporate office environment. This is a key, on-site leadership role focused on ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems.

You will act as the main point of contact for all engineering-related matters, providing technical leadership, supporting audits and reporting, and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all MEP, HVAC, fire and life safety, and energy systems
  • Deliver effective planned and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
  • Manage and optimise BMS/BAS and EMS platforms
  • Lead fault finding, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
  • Serve as the senior engineering contact for inspections, audits, and reporting
  • Supervise multi-skilled engineers and specialist contractors on site
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
  • Support team development, performance, and professional standards
  • Manage vendors, inspections, permits, and maintenance stock
  • Assist with budget control, expenditure tracking, KPI reporting, and compliance
  • Participate in occasional out-of-hours or weekend work when required

  • Proven experience in a commercial or corporate building services environment
  • Strong leadership capability with hands-on technical expertise
  • Solid understanding of statutory compliance and critical building systems
