Overview

One of the UK’s leading printing companies has a key opening within its board of directors.

Often viewed at the member of the board who creates a solid foundation upon which the business can grow, the Financial Director will provide financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions.

Responsibilities

This role will contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives by :

• Providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that financial commitments are met
• Developing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the business

It goes without saying that you need to be an outstanding financial analyst. Your role will be to oversee the preparation of our client’s financial accounts, ensuring they are presented accurately and timely; and to develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations are complied with, but it doesn’t end there.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have the communication and interpersonal skills to match your ability to work with numbers. We are also looking for significant managerial experience, to direct and control subordinates to ensure they are motivated and developed so that they carry out responsibilities to the highest standard.

Strategic thinking skills will also play a large part in being a stand out Financial Director. Our client is looking for someone to develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulations, discovering areas of improvement through analysis. xwzovoh From these audits, you will develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to effectively and efficiently manage the company’s finances.
