Investment Director

General Description

Finatal is working with a high-performing private equity firm seeking an experienced Investment Director to join its investment team. The role offers broad exposure across deal execution and portfolio support, with responsibility for leading transactions and working closely with management teams within the lower to mid-market.

The Role:

• Lead investment transactions from initial assessment through to completion.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute new investment opportunities.
• Develop and review financial models and investment analysis.
• Prepare investment materials and present recommendations to the investment committee.
• Engage with portfolio companies\’ post-acquisition, supporting strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with advisors, management teams, and other stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years’ experience in private equity or a related investment environment.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
• Experience managing transactions and coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Commercially minded with an interest in supporting portfolio company growth.
