Locum Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6+)

Job Description:

We are working on behalf of an established independent therapy provider who are recruiting an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6+) for a long-term locum role based in N14, London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive independent school and sixth form, delivering meaningful therapy to young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

The Role:

• Start: ASAP
• Days: 1 -3 days per week
• Contract: Long-term locum
• Setting: Independent school & sixth form
• Age range: 11–18 years
• Caseload: Approx. 8 students requiring SLT input
• Band: 6+

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver SLT interventions as outlined in EHCPs
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions, group interventions, and classroom observations
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider therapy teams
• Contribute to progress reviews and therapy planning where required

Requirements:

• Qualified Speech and xwzovoh Language Therapist
• HCPC registered
• Experience working with children or young people with EHCPs
• Confident working independently in a school environment
