OpenShift Platform Engineer / Migration Tech Lead

Sheffield – 3 days onsite / 2 remote

£500/day Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

Contract until Nov 2026

We’re working with a global consultancy who are looking for an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer / Migration Tech Lead to lead the design and delivery of OpenShift architectures and support large-scale migration of workloads onto OpenShift.

You’ll play a key role in defining target architecture, integrating OpenShift with existing VMware and enterprise storage platforms, and driving DevOps and automation best practices. xwzovoh

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead OpenShift (OCP) architecture and cluster topology
• Lead migration of applications and workloads to OpenShift
• Integrate OpenShift with VMware (vSphere, NSX) and Pure Storage
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting
• Ensure high availability, security, and scalability
