Would you like to join a small but perfectly formed practice?

We are a friendly, patient-centred, and forward-thinking GP practice in Yate, South Gloucestershire, perfectly located just 12 miles from both Bristol and Bath. Our list size is growing rapidly thanks to new housing developments in the area, and we’re now looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP (5-6 sessions per week) to join our close-knit and supportive team.

Working Days

  • Thursday
  • Friday

A blend of in-person and remote sessions is available in the short term.

About Us

Despite being a relatively small practice, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalised care with a strong multi-disciplinary team. Our patients consistently rate us highly for appointment access and continuity of care.

We are progressive, innovative, and community-focused, with a genuine commitment to supporting our clinicians’ wellbeing and professional development.

Your Role

As a Salaried GP, you will enjoy a balanced working day comprising:

  • A mix of telephone consultations and face-to-face appointments
  • Follow-up slots each day for review calls or patient updates
  • Allocated coffee/lunch breaks and protected admin time

In addition, you’ll play a valued role in providing ward rounds for our care home patients, helping us maintain strong continuity of care and meaningful relationships with residents and care teams.

What We Offer

  • Well-managed on-call sessions owing to our size
  • BMA aligned contracts and clinical contacts
  • Regular coffee breaks and strong peer support
  • No GP triage system
  • Allocated supervision time for AHPs
  • Opportunity to develop a special interest
  • Personalised patient lists for true continuity of care
  • A supportive multi-disciplinary team including: Physicians Associate, Paramedics, First Contact Physiotherapists, Nurses, HCAs, Mental Health Nurse, Social Prescriber, and Clinical Pharmacist
  • Excellent administrative and nursing support
  • Flexible working opportunities
  • Encouragement and support for career progression or portfolio careers

Personal Benefits

  • £11,575 per session per annum
  • 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave per year

If you’re looking to join a genuinely supportive, forward-thinking practice where you can make a real difference to patients, including our local care home community, we’d love to hear from you.
