Our global offshore energy projects client is looking for an experienced Senior Cathodic Protection & Corrosion Consultant to join their Design & Analysis group within the Materials, Welding & Coating (MWC) discipline.

You will work on major EPCI projects, FEEDs and tenders, with exposure to flexibles, rigid flowlines, PIP systems, subsea structures, and offshore/onshore fabrication and installation activities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing specialist Cathodic Protection (CP) technical support to projects and internal disciplines.
  • Preparing CP design reports and performing CP calculations for subsea flowlines, risers and structures in line with international standards.
  • Preparing anode specifications and Material Take Offs (MTOs) for tenders and live projects.
  • Reviewing, clarifying and technically evaluating anode supplier offers, procedures and documentation.
  • Acting as the single point of contact for project teams on all CP‑related matters.
  • Performing corrosion assessments and CO₂ corrosion rate modelling for pipelines.
  • Participating in meetings with clients, vendors and suppliers, resolving technical issues as required.
  • Supporting fabrication, installation, Quality and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams and ensuring effective communication across all interfaces.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience in CP system design and calculations, ideally in the subsea oil & gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms for subsea systems.
  • Experience supporting anode procurement and reviewing supplier documentation.
  • Degree in Materials Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills, risk‑focused mindset and sound decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple interfaces in a multicultural environment. xwzovoh
