Paying up to £60–65k plus car or car allowance

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Proven experience managing fire systems teams
  • Strong technical knowledge across fire alarm systems
  • Experience supporting engineers with technical queries and escalations
  • Confidence managing call-out rotas and service delivery
  • Ability to prepare quotations for service, minor works and associated systems
  • Experience interpreting specifications and designing compliant fire solutions

Qualifications:

  • Relevant fire systems experience within a service management role
  • Strong understanding of British Standards and approval body requirements
  • Background working within a compliant fire and security environment

About the role:

This position involves managing a team of engineers within the fire systems department, providing technical support where required and overseeing the call-out rota. You will be responsible for preparing quotations for fire extinguishers, minor works and fire alarm installations, ensuring all documentation meets British Standards and approval body requirements.

The role also includes designing and pricing systems such as conventional and analogue fire alarms, PA / VA systems, emergency lighting, disabled refuge systems, care call systems, disabled toilet alarms and induction loops. The business operates across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex, delivering high-level fire and security solutions to a loyal client base.
