Searching for Jobs

How do I search for jobs?
Use the search bar on our homepage. Enter a job title, keyword, or location and browse the results. You can filter by job type, salary, distance, and more to narrow down exactly what you're looking for.
Can I search for remote or hybrid jobs?
Yes. Use the filters on the search results page to select remote, hybrid, or on-site roles. You can also search using keywords like "remote" or "work from home" directly in the search bar.
How do I set up job alerts?
Search for the type of job you're looking for, then click "Create alert" to receive email notifications when new matching jobs are posted. You can manage or turn off your alerts at any time in your account settings.
I'm getting too many alert emails. How do I change this?
Go to your account settings and select "Job Alerts". From there you can change how often you receive emails, update your search criteria, or turn off individual alerts.
Why can't I find a specific job I saw earlier?
Job listings are removed once they expire or are filled by the employer. If a listing has disappeared, the role may no longer be available. Setting up a job alert for similar roles means you won't miss future opportunities.
Is Joboru free to use?
Yes. Joboru is completely free for job seekers. There are no hidden fees or premium tiers. You can search, save, and apply for jobs at no cost.

Applying for Jobs

How do I apply for a job on Joboru?
Click on a job listing and then click the "Apply" button. Depending on the employer, you may be directed to apply on Joboru or on the employer's own website.
Do I need an account to apply?
You can browse jobs without an account. To apply directly through Joboru, save jobs, and track your applications, you'll need to register for a free account. It takes less than a minute.
Can I apply for multiple jobs at once?
You can save jobs to your shortlist and apply to each one individually. We recommend tailoring your application to each role for the best chance of success.
Do employers see my details before I apply?
No. Your personal information is only shared with an employer once you choose to apply to their listing.
How do I know if my application was received?
You'll receive a confirmation email after applying through Joboru. You can also check the status of your applications in your account dashboard.
I applied but haven't heard back. Can Joboru help?
Joboru is a job board, not a recruitment agency. We connect you with employers, but the hiring process is managed by them directly. If you haven't heard back, we'd recommend following up with the employer using the contact details in your application confirmation. Response times vary, so allow a reasonable amount of time before following up.

Your Account

How do I create an account?
Click "Register" at the top of the page and follow the steps. You'll need an email address to get started. Registration takes less than a minute and is completely free.
How do I update my profile or CV?
Log into your account and go to your profile page. From there you can update your personal details, upload a new CV, and edit your preferences.
How do I change my email address or password?
Go to your account settings to update your email address or reset your password. If you're having trouble logging in, use the "Forgot password" link on the login page.
How do I delete my account?
If you'd like to delete your account, go to your account settings and select "Delete account". This will permanently remove your profile, saved jobs, and application history. If you're having any issues, contact us and we'll help.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. You can read our full privacy policy for more details.

Trust and Safety

How do I know the jobs on Joboru are real?
We review every employer and listing before it goes live. We actively remove spam, scams, and duplicate listings to keep the platform trustworthy. If something does slip through, we want to hear about it.
What should I look out for when applying for jobs?
Be cautious of any listing that asks you to pay money upfront, requests sensitive personal information like bank details before an interview, or seems too good to be true. Legitimate employers will never ask for payment as part of the application process.
I've seen a suspicious listing. How do I report it?
If something doesn't look right, please let us know straight away. You can report a listing by clicking the "Report" button on any job page, or by contacting us directly. We take every report seriously and will review it as quickly as possible.
I've been contacted by someone claiming to be an employer but it feels like a scam.
Do not share any personal or financial information. Report the message to us through our contact page with as much detail as possible. We'll investigate and take action if needed.

Something Isn't Working

The website isn't loading properly.
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or switch to a different browser. Joboru works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. If the problem continues, let us know.
I can't log into my account.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to reset your password. If you're still having trouble, contact us with the email address you registered with and we'll help you get back in.
Job links or the apply button aren't working.
This can sometimes happen if a listing has recently expired. If you're seeing this on an active listing, please report it to us with the job title and we'll fix it.
I'm having another technical issue.
