Job Description

We seek a skilled Customer Account Manager to join our global direct sales team. Reporting to the Senior Divisional Vice President, this role manages and grows customer accounts for our BI and Data connectivity products across EMEA and APAC. Ideal candidates will have expert knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions and proven experience in acquiring new clients before transitioning into Account Management. Responsibilities

  • Retain and expand your customer base across EMEA and APAC.
  • Build strategic, long-term relationships with corporate leaders within your territory.
  • Nurture and develop existing customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of revenue quotas.
  • Engage in heavy prospecting via calls, emails, marketing campaigns, and referrals, collaborating with marketing to qualify leads.
  • Coordinate resources during the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering.
  • Present value propositions to key clients and senior executives to negotiate and close deals.
  • Maintain and report customer information and sales forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Stay highly knowledgeable about company products and target industries.
  • Communicate effectively with management, customers, and support staff.
  • Participate in team activities such as strategy setting, sales training, marketing, and customer care.
  • Use a consultative approach to diagnose customer needs.
  • Close deals and acquire new customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience selling embedded analytics, Business Intelligence, and reporting tools into enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in generating new logos, transitioning into account management roles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with disciplined activity planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, including cold calling, proposals, and presentations.
  • Energy, drive, commitment, and passion.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
