Health Care Assistants Day & Night Shifts – Fleet Pay: £17.00 per hour Day shifts: 8am 8pm Monday to Sunday
Night shifts: 8pm 8am Monday to Sunday

At MCS Healthcare , we are looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to support a young client living at home with their family in Radstock. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred care to an adolescent with a learning disability and epilepsy.
About the Role You will be supporting a young person who lives in a loving family home and has complex clinical needs, including a PEG-feeding and gastrostomy care. The client requires reassurance, structure, and consistent support.
Providing attentive clinical care, building trust, offering reassurance, and responding in a calm, safe, and supportive manner is essential to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
This role is not just about care tasksits about building a positive relationship, promoting a sense of safety, and supporting the client to feel comfortable in their own home.

What Youll Be Doing
Epilepsy management
Provide regular chest care (nebuliser, cough assist, suction)
Monitor breathing and respond quickly to any concerns
Follow the care plan and report any changes in condition
Support with chronic constipation management
Manage and care for gastrostomy (PEG) needs

What Were Looking For At least 1 year of care experience

A caring and professional approach

Willingness to learn and follow care plans

Experience in learning disabilities or similar settings (preferred)
