**Sales Lead – Managed Services (Partner Channel)
****About the Job
****Sales Lead
** to join our team and drive growth through strategic engagement with our partner ecosystem.
**What your role as a Sales Lead will involve:
*** Leading the sales strategy and execution for managed services across our partner network.
* Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities for managed services, with a focus on AWS, Azure, M365, EndPoint Management& Networking solutions.
* Translate technical features into outcomes:
* Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer needs in areas.
* Building and nurturing relationships with key partners to identify opportunities and drive revenue.
* Act as a trusted advisor by aligning networking and cloud solutions with client business outcomes.
* Manage and develop client relationships throughout the full life-cycle of the account.
Including pre-sales, onboarding, ongoing account and project management and monthly/quarterly meetings.
Collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet partner needs.
* Driving enablement and education initiatives to support partner success.
* Ability to explain technical solutions in
**plain business terms
** for non-technical decision-makers.
* Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
* Reporting on performance metrics and pipeline development to senior leadership.
* Gathering new business leads through various sources to reach targets
* Maintain disciplined CRM usage, accurate forecasting, and strong pipeline health
**To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
*** Proven experience in selling managed services, ideally within the IT channel.
* Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and indirect sales models.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
* Networking:
* Understand firewalls, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi setups.
* Know what uptime, bandwidth, and redundancy mean to a business.
* Servers & Virtualization:
* On-prem vs.
cloud-hosted servers.
* Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
* Why companies move workloads to virtual machines or the cloud.
* Understanding managed services contracts, pricing models (per user/device, tiered services, etc.), and how Service Level Agreements (SLAs) work.
* Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.
