We are an ethical and fast-growing company with a team of exceptional people and are looking for someone to join us during an exciting period of change and growth. The role provides the opportunity for you to use your skills to make a difference within a friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking company. The culture is energetic, and there will be many opportunities for you to make a substantial contribution to the business.

The Role

Recorra’s Marketing team is seeking an additional team member to assist with our internal and external communications. This generalist marketing position offers the opportunity to learn from a team of seven experienced communications professionals, while progressively taking ownership of campaigns from briefing through to delivery. We’re looking for someone to grow into a hands‑on, in‑house marketing role with strong copywriting and copyediting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing team in delivering integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns
  • With guidance from the Marketing Manager, outline, write, edit, and publish external communications including blogs, brochures, case studies, emails, newsletters, press releases, and website content
  • Support internal communications by drafting and editing newsletters, presentations, and internal emails.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of creative campaigns to support new product and service launches
  • Manage and develop Recorra’s social media channels by creating engaging, on‑brand content
  • Plan and maintain weekly and monthly social media content calendars aligned with company strategy
  • Lead social media meetings, manage actions, and identify opportunities to improve performance through best practice and trend awareness
  • Support the planning and delivery of client‑facing events, including volunteer days, workshops, and webinars
  • Assist with award applications, including planning submissions, coordinating entries, and organising attendance at relevant ceremonies
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Marketing team and wider business to support commercial and company‑wide objectives
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure content supports SEO goals and keyword strategy
  • Support the Content Creator on video shoot days by assisting with planning and on‑the‑day coordination
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging, and visual identity across all communications

About you

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media, or similar)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role (in‑house or agency)
  • Strong copywriting and copy‑editing skills across digital and print channels
  • Experience supporting or delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns
  • Confident project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing content for accuracy, tone, and consistency
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and content planning
  • Proactive, organised, and keen to learn and develop within a collaborative team
  • Interest in sustainability, purpose‑led brands, or the green business sector (desirable)

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours
  • 22 days’ annual leave (additional days for length of service) plus bank holidays
  • Employee pension scheme
  • Travel season ticket loan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Health Cash Plan
