You will play a key role in ensuring daily sweeper duties, road cleansing activities, and safe working practices are carried out effectively across the Borough.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

– Follow all safety procedures and use the correct equipment
– Report hazards, accidents and unsafe conditions
– Maintain PPE and support inductions for new starters
– Promote safe practices and energy-efficient behaviour
– Carry out borough-wide street cleansing and daily vehicle checks
– Maintain vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects promptly
– Support crew deployment, planning and audits
– Uphold professional standards with the public, colleagues and client staff
– Assist or cover the Transport Manager when required and complete all tasks to schedule
