The Opportunity

We’re looking for a commercially minded, consumer-focused Senior Marketing Executive to join Clarion’s Enthusiast Department, working across a standout portfolio of premium consumer live events in the Spirit & Travel division.

This is a hands‑on role with real ownership. You’ll help shape and deliver high‑impact marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, grow audiences, and protect the reputation of some of the UK’s best‑loved and best‑performing consumer events.

Your portfolio will include

  • Spirit of Christmas Fair (2‑8 November 2026)
  • The Luxury Travel Fair (5‑8 November 2026)
  • Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show (January & February 2027)
  • The Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Show (January 2027)

Together, these events attract around 900 carefully curated exhibitors, from independent small businesses and artisan makers to luxury travel brands, tourist boards and specialist operators. Each event is known for its quality, authenticity and loyal audience, supported by prestigious media partnerships including House & Garden, Condé Nast Traveller, The Times and The Sunday Times.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across multiple brands, develop your skills within a supportive team, and grow your career within Clarion’s wider consumer events portfolio.

There may also be opportunities to work across other portfolios within the Enthusiast Department.

About the Events

  • Spirit of Christmas Fair

    Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, this iconic London event attracts a high‑net‑worth, predominantly female audience and showcases over 600 independent brands. It is firmly established as the UK’s leading curated Christmas shopping experience.

  • The Luxury Travel Fair

    Co‑located with Spirit of Christmas, this is the only luxury consumer travel event of its kind in the UK, connecting discerning travellers with boutique hotels and specialist tour operators offering bespoke experiences.

  • Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show

    In association with The Times and The Sunday Times, Destinations is the UK’s largest and longest‑running travel event, taking place in January 2027.

  • The Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Show

    Co‑located with Destinations Manchester, this is the largest leisure vehicle event in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of customer‑centric marketing strategies
  • Plan and deliver multi‑channel marketing campaigns on time and to budget
  • Create compelling content across channels including website, email, social, print and digital
  • Maintain and update event websites. Use Clarity and GA for customer journey optimisation
  • Plan, implement and analyse engaging email campaigns
  • Deliver end‑to‑end paid digital campaigns across search, display, and social, managing budgets and optimising performance to drive ticket sales
  • Manage organic and paid social media activity and design
  • Write clear design briefs and collaborate with the creative team to deliver campaign assets
  • Build strong relationships with partners, sponsors, media, influencers and exhibitors
  • Act as a point of contact with the PR agency
  • Liaise with Marketing Operations and report on campaign performance, providing insight and recommendations
  • Support onsite marketing and event delivery during live events

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours

  • Proven experience of delivering successful multi‑channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience building email campaigns and using marketing automation (Pardot desirable)
  • Understanding of customer data, segmentation and reporting (Treasure Data desirable)
  • Confident working with performance tracking and response reporting
  • Experience or interest in luxury, travel and consumer markets is an advantage, but not essential
