Switchgear Site Technician

Mane are recruiting a Switchgear Site Technician to join a well-established company based in Hove. This is a varied, hands-on role offering a mix of site work and factory-based assembly, with strong long-term prospects.

The Role

• Carry out DC Switchgear maintenance on site
• Assemble switchgear in the factory when not on DC maintenance work
• Support site work alongside AC switchgear site technicians
• Participate in an on-call rota, including attending weekday daytime call-outs (regardless of rota position)

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working with switchgear, control panels, busbars, or similar electrical systems
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and circuit diagrams
• DC switchgear experience is not essential — full training can be provided
• Full UK driving licence required

Additional Requirements

• Any job offer will be subject to passing a Personal Track xwzovoh Safety (PTS) standard medical

Salary & Benefits

• £33,000 – £35,000 per year
